“One of Hungary’s longest-running Europop groups, Unique, released a new video over the weekend for their “Semmi Nem Marad.” The clip is a stylish affair with a storyline and it looks pretty good. “Semmi Nem Marad” translates to “there is nothing left” so you get the idea. A sort of melancholy dance song that reminds me of a lot of current Danish electronic crossover pop material. Have a listen below.”

“I’m really excited for Unique’s new music video (coming soon, new teaser here) but the group has such a stellar back catalog of videos on You Tube it’s worth revisiting a few of the trio’s older tracks. “Fekete Fehér” is from 2009 and I love the song and clip for it. This trio has a fresh sound and they are kind of ahead of their time (they’ve been pushing this sound, sort of a cross between Depeche Mode and Kylie, or something, for years). Az év hazai dala kategóriában Fonogram díjra jelölték a Unique “Hiszed vagy sem” című dalát.
Sikert-sikerre halmoz a Unique zenekar. A csapat Hiszed vagy sem című dala nyolc hétig a legjátszottabb magyar rádióssláger volt, most pedig Gabiék támadnak az angol nyelvű verzióval.

Nyolc héten keresztül a rádiók legjátszottabb magyar dala volt (és még mindig előkelő helyen szerepel a listán) a Unique Hiszed vagy sem című slágere. A klip dübörög a VIVA-n, külföldről egyre többen érdeklődnek a zenekar iránt, Gabiék pedig extrával kedveskednek a rajongóknak: itt az Unhappy Ending Dream.

Ma délelőtt a VIVA TV, Mariott Hotelben tartott sajtótájékoztatóján jártunk, ahol bejelentették, hogy 2010-ben, a VIVA COMET-en a UNIQUE is jelöltje a legjobb zenekar kategóriának!
Mint az számotokra is biztosan nyilvánvaló, a VIVA TV tábora elsősorban a tinikből áll, a Unique pedig egy sokkal szélesebb réteghez szól; az átfedés tehát csak részleges. Éppen ezért egyrészt rendkívül megtisztelő és nagy szó a jelölés, másrészt óriási a feladat, ami rátok vár!

Blonde Gabi, for example, made a splash way back in ‘92 when she walked away with “best solo singer” on the Hungarian TV show Teenage Star Search. With her on vocals and her pair of wingmen on keyboards, the trio persevered finally hitting the big time in 2001, when a Unique tune was picked as the theme for the country’s first reality show and they released their first recorded single.”
